    Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, academic materials, and access to university libraries. This is the primary component of the annual fee structure.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus hostels with shared facilities such as common rooms, study areas, and recreational spaces.

Mess Advance: Prepaid monthly mess charges covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The advance is collected at the beginning of each semester.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small fee that supports students facing financial hardships or emergency situations within the university community.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical checkups, consultations, and minor treatments provided through the university’s health center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities including sports clubs, cultural events, and student organizations.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting exams, evaluating papers, and issuing results.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers several types of hostels to accommodate students based on their preferences and budgets:

    • Single Occupancy Rooms (Rs. 40,000/year)
    • Double Occupancy Rooms (Rs. 25,000/year)
    • Triple Occupancy Rooms (Rs. 18,000/year)
    • Quad Occupancy Rooms (Rs. 15,000/year)

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with charges varying based on room type and meal preferences. Students can opt for vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals, with an additional surcharge for special dietary requirements.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not stay in hostels during certain months due to academic commitments or family emergencies. These rebates range from 20% to 50%, depending on the duration and reason for absence.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various forms of financial assistance to deserving students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver or 50% concession based on income slabs.
    • EWS Category: Up to 25% concession for families with annual income below Rs. 8 lakh.
    • MCM (Most Backward Class): Up to 10% discount on tuition fees.

All scholarship applications must be submitted online through the university portal along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and medical reports if applicable. The selection process involves a review by the Scholarship Committee, which evaluates each application based on merit and need.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit card transactions. The university does not accept cash or cheque payments for tuition fees.

Late fee is charged at 2% per month for overdue payments, starting from the due date mentioned in the fee notice. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after withdrawal or course completion, subject to compliance with refund rules and conditions.
