    Detailed Fee Components

Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, laboratory facilities, and academic resources. The fee remains constant across all semesters to ensure consistency in educational quality.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided in single, double, or triple occupancy rooms. Rent varies based on room type and amenities available. Students can opt for different room categories during the registration process.

Mess Advance: An advance payment for meals during the semester is required. The mess charges are calculated based on daily consumption and updated quarterly to reflect changes in food prices.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are minimal but play a vital role in ensuring equitable access to education.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services, including consultations with resident doctors and emergency care at the campus hospital.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees support recreational activities and sports programs on campus, promoting physical well-being among students.

Examination Fees: Includes costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations, including evaluation and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Hostel rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy options. Each category offers different amenities such as AC units, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.

Mess billing follows a monthly system where students receive bills based on their consumption. The billing cycle aligns with the academic calendar to facilitate seamless payments and adjustments.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not use hostel facilities during certain periods, such as semester breaks or special events. These rebates are processed automatically upon submission of relevant documentation.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various forms of financial assistance to deserving students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees.
    • EWS Category: A 25% concession is offered on tuition and hostel charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): 10% discount on all fees except for examination fees.

Income slabs for scholarship eligibility are as follows:

    • Below ₹2,00,000 per annum: Full scholarship covering tuition and hostel charges.
    • ₹2,00,001 to ₹5,00,000 per annum: Partial scholarship covering 50% of tuition fees.
    • ₹5,00,001 to ₹10,00,000 per annum: Partial scholarship covering 25% of tuition fees.

Applications for scholarships must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents such as income certificates and caste certificates. Review committees evaluate applications based on merit and financial need.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees are to be paid by the first week of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day beyond the deadline. Students must ensure timely payment to avoid academic disruptions or penalties.

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:

    • Before 15 days of commencement: Full refund minus administrative charges.
    • Between 15 and 30 days: Refund of 75% of fees.
    • After 30 days: No refund will be granted.

Refunds are processed within 30 working days after withdrawal formalities are completed. Students must submit a written request along with all necessary documents for refund processing.
