    Exam Preparation Strategy

To succeed in the admission process, aspirants should follow these strategic steps:

    • Start Early: Begin preparation at least six months before the exam date to cover all subjects thoroughly.
    • Focus on Core Subjects: Concentrate on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as these are crucial for JEE Advanced.
    • Practice Previous Year Papers: Solve past papers to understand exam patterns and improve time management skills.
    • Take Mock Tests Regularly: Participate in online mock tests offered by coaching institutes or the university itself.
    • Revise Thoroughly: Allocate time for revision after completing each topic to reinforce learning.

Counseling Process and Choice Filling Strategy

The counseling process involves several steps:

    1. Choice Filling: Candidates must fill preferences in order of priority. It is essential to research available programs thoroughly before making choices.
    2. Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on merit and category-wise reservations. The final allotment is done through a centralized process.
    3. Document Verification: Once a seat is allocated, candidates must verify documents within the stipulated time to confirm admission.

    For effective choice filling:

    • Research Programs: Understand the reputation and outcomes of various programs offered by the university.
    • Consider Cutoffs: Based on previous years' cutoffs, prioritize programs that are likely to be within your rank range.
    • Balance Risk and Reward: Include a mix of high-risk, high-reward options with safer choices for better chances of admission.
