Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose:

    • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, library services, and administrative costs associated with teaching.
    • Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation facilities for students living away from home, ensuring comfort and safety during their studies.
    • Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges that ensure smooth functioning of the campus dining system and allow for accurate planning.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports needy students financially through grants and scholarships funded by donations from alumni and faculty.
    • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided on campus, including consultations with doctors and access to emergency medical care.
    • Gymkhana Fees: Funds physical education programs, sports facilities, and recreational activities that promote a healthy lifestyle among students.
    • Examination Fees: Covers costs related to conducting exams, evaluating papers, issuing certificates, and maintaining academic records.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options catering to different preferences and budgets. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, and quad occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with essential amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, fans, and internet connectivity.

Mess billing follows a monthly system where students pay in advance for meals provided during that period. The mess offers a wide variety of dishes including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, snacks, and beverages. Monthly bills are generated based on actual consumption, with provisions for discounts or rebates for students with certain academic achievements or financial hardships.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

A comprehensive financial assistance program is available for eligible students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% concession on hostel charges.
    • EWS Category: Students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 30% concession on hostel charges.
    • MCM Category: Students get a 30% waiver on tuition fees and a 20% concession on hostel charges.

Income slabs for eligibility are defined as follows:

    • General Category: Annual family income above INR 8 lakh
    • EWS Category: Annual family income between INR 3 lakh and 6 lakh
    • OBC-NCL Category: Annual family income between INR 4 lakh and 8 lakh
    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Annual family income below INR 3 lakh

To apply for fee waivers or concessions, students must submit a detailed application form along with supporting documents such as income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and disability certificate (for PwD). The process is reviewed by the financial aid committee and decisions are communicated within two weeks.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of each semester to avoid late penalties. Payment can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI. A late fee of INR 500 per day is charged for delayed payments beyond the deadline.

If a student withdraws from the program during the academic year, refund policies apply:

    • Withdrawal within first month: Full refund of tuition and hostel fees
    • Withdrawal between 1st to 3rd month: 80% refund of tuition and hostel fees
    • Withdrawal after 3rd month: No refund is granted

Refunds are processed within 30 working days upon submission of all required documents including withdrawal letter, bank account details, and original receipts. Students who leave the university mid-year may retain their mess advance if they have completed at least one full semester.
