    Detailed Explanation of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and educational resources provided by the university. It includes access to online databases, library facilities, and academic support services.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus hostels with basic amenities such as bed, study table, chair, and wardrobes. Shared bathrooms and common areas are also part of this charge.

Mess Advance: A fixed amount paid upfront for food services during the semester. The actual mess bill is settled at the end of the semester based on consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. This fund ensures that no student is deprived of basic academic needs due to economic constraints.

Medical Fees: Covers routine medical checkups, emergency care, and access to the university's health center. Students are encouraged to maintain regular health screenings.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports activities, gym access, recreational facilities, and fitness programs available on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various room types in its hostels, categorized based on comfort and amenities:

    • Semi-Private Rooms: Shared bathroom facilities with two students per room.
    • Private Rooms: Private bathroom with one student per room.
    • Double Occupancy: Shared bathroom with two students sharing a room.

Mess charges are calculated based on consumption, and students receive a detailed monthly statement. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or in cases of medical absences.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees and hostel charges.
    • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and hostel charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community): 25% concession on tuition fees.

Eligibility for these concessions is determined based on income slabs, caste certificates, and other documentation submitted during the admission process.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Late payments attract a late fee of Rs. 500 per day until the balance is cleared. Payment can be made through net banking, credit/debit cards, or bank drafts.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the university after paying fees. Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to deductions for administrative charges and any pending dues.

Students must submit a formal application along with necessary documents to initiate the refund process. Once approved, refunds are transferred directly to the student's bank account.
