    Fee Components Explained

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose and contributes to the overall quality of education and student experience:

    Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers instruction costs, access to academic resources, laboratory facilities, and administrative support. It is structured to ensure that students receive comprehensive educational services throughout their program.

    Hostel Rent

Hostel accommodation is provided to all students who wish to reside on campus. The rent includes basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and maintenance services. Students can choose from single, double, or triple occupancy rooms depending on availability and preference.

    Mess Advance

The mess advance covers the cost of meals provided through the university cafeteria. This amount is typically adjusted at the beginning of each semester based on actual consumption. Students are encouraged to use the mess facility regularly to ensure balanced nutrition and social interaction.

    Student Benevolent Fund

This one-time fee supports initiatives aimed at improving student welfare, including scholarships for meritorious students, financial assistance for underprivileged families, and emergency relief funds. Contributions are pooled together to support various community projects and student initiatives.

    Medical Fees

The medical fee covers access to healthcare services on campus, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency treatment. The university maintains a fully equipped medical center staffed by qualified doctors and nurses who provide round-the-clock care.

    Gymkhana Fees

Gymkhana fees fund recreational activities and sports programs that promote physical fitness and mental well-being among students. These funds support regular exercise sessions, inter-college competitions, and equipment maintenance for various sports facilities.

    Examination Fees

Examination fees cover the cost of conducting assessments, including practical exams, written tests, and oral presentations. These fees also contribute to maintaining secure test environments and ensuring fair evaluation processes.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers several hostel options catering to different needs and preferences:

    • Single Room: Rs. 20,000 per semester (includes utilities)
    • Double Room: Rs. 15,000 per semester (shared with one roommate)
    • Triple Room: Rs. 10,000 per semester (shared with two roommates)

    Mess Billing System

The mess billing system is designed to be transparent and efficient. Students are required to pay an advance amount at the start of each semester, which is then adjusted based on actual consumption. Monthly bills are generated and collected from students to ensure accurate accounting.

    Rebate Policies

Students who wish to leave campus during certain periods may be eligible for rebates on hostel rent and mess charges. Applications must be submitted at least one week in advance, and approval depends on availability of rooms and compliance with university rules.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

To support financially challenged students, the university offers various fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships based on academic merit, economic background, or special circumstances:

    Eligibility Criteria

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee and hostel charges for students from these categories.
    • EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee and hostel charges for students belonging to EWS category.
    • MCM (Meritorious Children of Meritorious Parents): 25% reduction in tuition fee for eligible students.
    • Merit-Based Scholarships: Top performers in entrance exams receive full or partial scholarships covering tuition and hostel fees.

    Application Process

Candidates must submit relevant documents along with their application form to qualify for financial aid. These include income certificates, caste certificates (for SC/ST), disability certificates (for PwD), and academic transcripts demonstrating consistent performance.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments for tuition fees and other charges are made through online banking or UPI transfers. Students must ensure timely payments to avoid late fees and penalties:

    Payment Deadlines

    • Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund of all fees except the Student Benevolent Fund.
