    Admission Process

The admission process for the LLB program at Alard University Pune is highly competitive and designed to identify candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for legal education. Applications are accepted through the university’s official portal, and candidates must fulfill specific eligibility criteria before applying.

Applicants must have completed their 12th-grade examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any stream. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the percentage requirement may be relaxed as per government guidelines.

Candidates must also meet the age limit requirement, which is 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year. For PwD candidates, the upper age limit may be relaxed by up to five years.

    Application Procedure

The application process begins in March and concludes in May. Candidates must create an account on the university portal and fill out the online application form with personal details, academic records, and other required information. The application fee is Rs. 1000 for General and OBC-NCL categories, while SC/ST and PwD candidates pay a reduced fee of Rs. 500.

After submitting the form, candidates must upload scanned copies of their photographs, signature, and documents related to their qualifying examination. Once the application is submitted, it cannot be edited, so candidates are advised to double-check all information before submission.

    Counseling Process

Following the declaration of merit lists, a counseling session is conducted for seat allocation. Candidates who qualify based on their scores are called for counseling according to their rank in the merit list. The process includes document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment.

During counseling, candidates must select their preferred branches and colleges from a list of available options. The seat allocation is done based on merit, category reservation, and availability of seats. Candidates who do not get a seat in their first preference may be offered alternatives based on the remaining vacancies.

    Exam Preparation Tips

Preparing for the LLB admission process requires strategic planning and consistent effort. Candidates are advised to focus on strengthening their understanding of legal principles, improving analytical skills, and practicing previous years' question papers.

It is essential to stay updated with current affairs and understand how they relate to legal concepts. Regular participation in mock tests and group discussions can significantly improve performance during the admission process. Additionally, candidates should maintain a balanced study schedule that includes time for revision and relaxation.

The counseling process also requires careful attention to details such as document preparation and choice selection. Candidates are encouraged to research the preferences of other institutions and make informed decisions about their choices.
