Detailed Narrative Explanation of Fee Components

The tuition fee covers access to state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratory sessions, and faculty instruction. It reflects the high-quality education provided by experienced professors and industry professionals.

Hostel rent is charged separately to accommodate students who require accommodation during their studies. The hostel facilities are equipped with modern amenities including Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.

Mess advance is a prepayment for meals consumed during the semester. Students receive monthly bills based on actual consumption, which are adjusted against the advance amount paid.

The Student Benevolent Fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions help provide assistance in cases of illness, family crises, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Medical fees cover access to campus health services, including consultations with doctors and nurses, basic treatments, and preventive healthcare programs.

Gymkhana fees support recreational activities, sports events, and cultural programs organized on campus. These fees ensure a balanced lifestyle for students through physical fitness and extracurricular engagement.

Examination fees cover administrative costs associated with conducting exams, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Alliance University Bangalore offers various hostel options to suit different preferences and budgets:

    • Single Room: Private room with shared bathroom facilities. Monthly rent: 12,000 INR
    • Double Room: Shared room with two occupants and shared bathroom facilities. Monthly rent: 8,000 INR
    • Triple Room: Shared room with three occupants and shared bathroom facilities. Monthly rent: 6,000 INR
    • Quad Room: Shared room with four occupants and shared bathroom facilities. Monthly rent: 5,000 INR

Mess billing follows a monthly system where students pay an advance of 15,000 INR per semester. The actual bill is calculated based on consumption during the month and adjusted against the advance amount.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or those who travel frequently. Rebates vary from 10% to 50%, depending on the frequency of meal consumption.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Alliance University Bangalore provides multiple scholarship schemes to support meritorious students:

    • Merit Scholarship: Awarded to top performers in 12th grade with minimum 80% marks. Scholarship amount: 50,000 INR per semester
    • SC/ST/PwD Concession: Eligible students receive a 50% reduction in fees based on income slabs and category
    • EWS Concession: Students from economically weaker sections receive 30% fee reduction upon submission of valid documents
    • MCM (Meritorious Children of Mentally Challenged Parents): Receiving 40% fee concession with documentation

Applications for financial aid must be submitted by specified deadlines, typically two weeks before the start of each semester. The university evaluates applications based on income certificates, caste certificates, and other supporting documents.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students must complete fee payment within 15 days of admission or as per the academic calendar. Late payments attract a penalty of 2% per month on outstanding dues.

Payments can be made through online portals, NEFT/RTGS, demand draft, or cash at designated counters. All transactions are recorded and verified for accuracy.

If a student withdraws from the university before completing one semester, they are eligible for a refund of 80% of fees paid, minus administrative charges and hostel rent already incurred. Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal approval.

Students who leave after completing one semester but before finishing the course may receive a partial refund based on actual attendance and academic progress. The university reserves the right to retain certain amounts for unpaid dues or outstanding obligations.
