    Detailed Explanation of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources for the entire duration of each semester.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single or double occupancy rooms with basic amenities like bed, study table, chair, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.

Mess Advance: A monthly advance paid towards meals provided in the campus hostel mess facility. Adjustments are made at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards supporting students facing financial difficulties or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical consultations and first aid services available within the campus health center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports equipment maintenance, and student club initiatives.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including grading, result processing, and certificate issuance.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options catering to different preferences and budgets. Room types include single occupancy (INR 15,000/month), double occupancy (INR 20,000/month), and triple occupancy (INR 25,000/month). Each room comes equipped with essential furniture and shared bathrooms.

Mess billing follows a standardized system where students pay an advance each month. The actual cost is adjusted at the end of the month based on consumed meals. Rebates are available for students who stay in hostels for more than 10 months per academic year.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Alliance University provides various forms of financial assistance to deserving students:

    • Merit-based Scholarships: Awarded to top performers in JEE Advanced or JEE Main. Eligibility requires a rank below 5000 and minimum 90% marks in class 12th.
    • Need-based Concessions: Available for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with income slabs ranging from INR 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs annually.
    • EWS Category: Students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections receive 50% reduction in tuition fees.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): Full waiver of hostel and mess charges for eligible students from minority communities.

Applications for scholarships must be submitted through the university portal along with supporting documents like income certificates, caste certificates, and academic transcripts.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are expected by the first week of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day until cleared. Students can make payments via net banking, debit cards, credit cards, or demand drafts issued in favor of Alliance University.

If a student withdraws from the program within the first month, a refund of 90% of total fees is processed after deducting administrative charges. Refunds are credited to the original payment account within 30 days.
