    Detailed Fee Explanation

The total fee for the Operations program is Rs. 606,000 for the entire duration of four years (8 semesters). Each semester, students are required to pay a fixed amount covering tuition, hostel, mess, and other miscellaneous charges.

Tuition Fee: This covers access to lectures, lab sessions, workshops, and other academic activities. It is subject to annual revision based on inflation and infrastructure development costs.

Hostel Rent: The accommodation charge includes room rent for single occupancy rooms. Additional charges may apply for twin-sharing or triple-sharing arrangements.

Mess Advance: This amount covers the cost of meals for one month and is adjusted at the end of each semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students from economically weaker backgrounds and fund extracurricular activities.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the college's medical center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and recreational activities within the campus.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting exams, including grading, result processing, and certificate generation.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Alpine College are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. Hostel rooms are categorized into single, double, and triple occupancy options, each with varying rent charges:

    • Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 15,000 per semester
    • Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 20,000 per semester
    • Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 25,000 per semester

Mess charges are collected as an advance at the beginning of each month and adjusted based on actual consumption. Students can opt for different meal plans including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Rebate policies are available for students who take leave during the academic year or participate in inter-college competitions and events. The rebate is calculated proportionally to the number of days missed.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college offers various financial aid options to support students from diverse economic backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees. Additional concessions are available for hostel rent and mess charges.
    • EWS Category: Students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees, along with partial rebates on other charges.
    • MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrants): A 25% concession on tuition fees is offered to students who qualify under this category.

Applications for fee waivers and scholarships must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The selection process is based on merit and financial need.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit card. Payments are processed through the college’s secure payment gateway, which ensures transaction safety and transparency.

Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day beyond the deadline. Students are advised to complete their payments before the start of each semester to avoid any inconvenience.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students are eligible for a refund of fees after deducting administrative charges and hostel dues. Refunds are processed within 45 days of submission of the withdrawal form.
