    Project-Based Learning Philosophy

The philosophy behind project-based learning at Amity University Patna is centered on active participation and real-world problem-solving. Projects are assigned based on industry needs and academic relevance, allowing students to gain practical experience while applying theoretical concepts learned in class.

Mini-projects are introduced in the second year, where small teams work on specific business problems provided by partner organizations or faculty members. These projects span approximately 8 weeks and involve research, analysis, presentation, and feedback sessions.

The final-year capstone project is a significant component of the program. Students select a topic related to their chosen specialization, conduct extensive research, and develop a comprehensive solution that can be presented to stakeholders including faculty mentors, industry experts, and potential employers.

Faculty mentors are selected based on expertise and interest alignment with the student’s proposed project. Evaluation criteria include innovation, feasibility, impact assessment, presentation quality, and peer collaboration. Projects are assessed using rubrics developed by both academic and industry experts.
