    Detailed Breakdown of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers instruction, laboratory access, and administrative costs associated with the academic program. It is divided into two semesters per year and remains constant throughout the program.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided within campus for students who wish to live on-site. The rent varies depending on room type and amenities available. Students can choose between single, double, triple, or quad occupancy rooms based on their preferences and budget.

Mess Advance: A mess advance is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses for that period. Students must deposit this amount before receiving meals in the campus cafeteria.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are minimal but play a vital role in ensuring student welfare and accessibility to education.

Medical Fees: Medical facilities are available on campus, and students pay an annual medical fee to cover basic healthcare services and emergency treatment.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees support extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, and student organizations. They contribute to the overall development of students beyond academics.

Examination Fees: Examination fees cover the cost of conducting semester-end exams, practical assessments, and grading services. These fees are charged per semester.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides comfortable hostel facilities with modern amenities for all students. Hostels are equipped with common rooms, study areas, Wi-Fi connectivity, laundry services, and 24/7 security.

Room types vary in terms of capacity and comfort level:

    • Single Occupancy Room: Ideal for individual students seeking privacy and convenience. Rent is INR 15000/month.
    • Double Occupancy Room: Shared with one roommate, offering a balance between comfort and affordability. Rent is INR 12000/month.
    • Triple Occupancy Room: Shared with two roommates, suitable for budget-conscious students. Rent is INR 10000/month.
    • Quad Occupancy Room: Shared with three roommates, providing maximum value for money. Rent is INR 8000/month.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students are charged based on their meal consumption. Monthly mess charges range from INR 3000 to INR 5000 depending on the room type and number of meals consumed.

Rebate policies allow students who leave campus for internships or study abroad programs to receive partial refunds on their hostel rent and mess advance. Students must submit formal applications along with supporting documents to avail these benefits.

Arni University Kangra offers several financial assistance schemes to support deserving students:

    • Income Slab for SC/ST/PwD: No income limit applies; however, proof of caste or disability is required.

    • For Hostel Rent: INR 500 per day after the due date.
    • For Mess Advance: INR 200 per day after the due date.

The university follows a strict refund policy for students who withdraw from the program:

    • Before Admission: Full refund is possible if withdrawal occurs before official admission.
    • After Admission (within 15 days): 90% refund is provided after deducting administrative charges.
    • After 15 Days: No refunds are granted unless the student is admitted to another institution or faces exceptional circumstances such as medical emergencies.
