    Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facility at Arunodaya University Papum Pare offers comfortable living arrangements for students. Hostels are equipped with essential amenities including air-conditioned rooms, study halls, laundry facilities, and 24/7 security.

Room types include single occupancy (INR 35,000/year), double occupancy (INR 35,000/year), triple occupancy (INR 35,000/year), and quadruple occupancy (INR 35,000/year). Each room comes with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and access to common areas.

The mess billing system operates on an advance payment model. Students pay INR 20,000 per semester as a mess advance, which is adjusted against actual consumption at the end of the semester. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner with vegetarian options and regular dietary considerations.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they are absent for more than 10 days in a semester due to valid reasons such as illness or family emergencies. Full refund is provided for absences exceeding 20 days.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial assistance programs are available to eligible students based on income slabs and category-specific criteria:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee with partial rebate on hostel charges. Income slab: Below INR 3 lakh per annum.
    • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and full rebate on hostel charges. Income slab: Between INR 3-6 lakh per annum.
    • MCM (Migrant Community Member): 25% waiver on tuition fee and 50% rebate on hostel charges. Income slab: Below INR 4 lakh per annum.

Additional scholarships are available for meritorious students based on academic performance, leadership, and community service. These include the Merit Scholarship (up to 100% waiver), Leadership Scholarship (50% waiver), and Community Service Scholarship (25% waiver).

    Application Process

Students must submit applications along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), disability certificates (for PwD students), and academic transcripts. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee, which evaluates eligibility based on provided documentation.

Scholarship recipients are notified within two weeks of application submission. Recipients must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 to retain their scholarship benefits.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid through online banking, net banking, or NEFT transfer. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late payments incurring a penalty of INR 100 per day beyond the due date.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program before completing the first semester. Full refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal approval, subject to deductions for administrative fees and hostel charges.

Students who wish to transfer to another institution must follow a formal process involving submission of withdrawal requests and approval from both institutions. Refunds will be processed after verification of all financial obligations.
