    Fee Breakdown and Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, library access, and administrative services. This component remains consistent across all semesters.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, study tables, and common areas.

Mess Advance: Monthly advance payment for meals provided in campus cafeterias. The amount is adjusted quarterly based on consumption patterns.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards student welfare programs, including scholarships, health services, and emergency relief funds.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical consultations, vaccinations, and treatment under the campus health center. Additional charges may apply for specialized treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports fitness facilities, sports equipment maintenance, and recreational activities within the campus.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various types of hostels categorized by comfort level and facilities. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy shared by students of the same gender. Each room is equipped with essential furniture and internet connectivity.

Mess billing follows a monthly system where students prepay for meals based on their consumption pattern. The cafeteria offers a diverse menu including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with special dietary accommodations available upon request.

Rebate policies allow students to receive refunds for unused portions of mess advance during breaks or if they move out before the end of the semester. Refunds are processed within 15 days of submission of relevant documents.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides financial assistance through various scholarship schemes targeting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, SC/ST/PwD categories, and those excelling academically. Eligibility criteria are determined based on income slabs and merit scores.

For instance, students from families earning below INR 2 lakh annually qualify for full fee waivers under the Merit Cum Means Scholarship (MCM) scheme. Those earning between INR 2-4 lakh may receive partial concessions depending on their academic performance and family circumstances.

Application forms are available online and must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and academic records. The selection committee evaluates applications based on transparency, fairness, and need-based assessment.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of each semester to ensure uninterrupted access to academic services. Payments can be made through online banking, net banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts issued by nationalized banks.

Late payments attract a penalty fee of INR 500 per day beyond the deadline set by the administration. Refunds are granted only in cases of withdrawal from the institution or transfer to another university. The refund process typically takes 30 working days after approval.
