    Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction costs and academic resources. The fee is fixed per semester and includes access to all classes, labs, and digital learning tools.

Hostel Rent: Paid monthly for accommodation in university-hosted hostels. Different room types are available with varying amenities and charges.

Mess Advance: A one-time advance payment required at the beginning of each semester to cover food expenses. The amount is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributes to student welfare programs, including scholarships and emergency support services.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and recreational activities on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs related to conducting examinations and grading.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel options to accommodate students from different economic backgrounds. Rooms are categorized into single, double, triple, and quad occupancy types, each with differing rent charges.

Mess billing follows a monthly system where students pay an advance at the start of the semester. Monthly bills are calculated based on actual consumption, with adjustments made at the end of the semester.

Rebate policies apply to students who leave campus during certain periods or those facing financial hardships. Rebates are typically 50% for partial absences and up to 100% in exceptional cases.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several fee waiver schemes to support deserving students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% concession on tuition fees.
    • EWS Category: Students receive a 50% discount on tuition fees.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): A 25% reduction in tuition fee is applicable.

Scholarship programs are available for meritorious students based on academic performance and extracurricular achievements. These include merit-based scholarships, need-based financial assistance, and specific awards for research contributions.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via the university portal or through authorized banks. Payments are accepted until the last day of the semester unless specified otherwise.

Late fee charges apply if payments are made after the deadline, typically 5% per month on overdue amounts. Refunds are processed within 30 days upon withdrawal from the program, subject to deduction of applicable fees and penalties.
