The admission process for the Business Analytics program at Beehive College is designed to identify and select promising candidates who demonstrate aptitude for analytical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation. The program follows a merit-based selection system with multiple criteria to ensure comprehensive evaluation of applicants.

Admission to the program is primarily through competitive examinations such as JEE Advanced or JEE Main, depending on the category of applicants. The college also accepts candidates from other recognized qualifying exams like state-level entrance tests and national-level tests for admission consideration.

Application Process

The application process begins with filling out an online application form available on the college website. Applicants must provide personal details, academic history, contact information, and upload required documents such as Aadhar card, passport-size photographs, and qualifying exam mark sheets.

After submitting the application, candidates are required to pay an application fee of INR 1,500 for general category students. The fee varies for different categories, with concessions available for SC/ST/PwD and EWS applicants.

Once the application is processed, candidates receive a unique application number and login credentials for accessing their dashboard. This dashboard allows them to view their application status, download admit cards, and check important dates related to the examination process.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission Categories

The college follows a comprehensive reservation policy to ensure equitable access to education for all categories of students. The following categories are eligible for reservation:

Examination and Selection Process

The selection process involves a two-stage approach:

1. Written Examination: Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced or JEE Main are shortlisted based on their performance in the respective exams. The minimum qualifying marks are determined by the respective conducting bodies.
2. Merit List Preparation: After the written examination, a merit list is prepared based on the aggregate scores of candidates, considering weightage for category-wise reservations and normalization criteria if applicable.

Seat Allocation

The seat allocation process is conducted through a centralized counseling mechanism. Candidates must fill in their preferences for various courses based on their ranks and available seats. The final allocation is done considering merit, category-wise reservation, and preferences filled by the candidates.

For the Business Analytics program, a total of 150 seats are available across all categories. The distribution among different categories is as follows:

• EWS: 15 seats
• OBC-NCL: 41 seats
• SC: 23 seats
• ST: 11 seats
• PwD: 8 seats

Counseling Procedure

The counseling process involves multiple rounds where candidates are allocated seats based on their merit and preferences. The procedure includes:
