Fee Structure

The total fee for the Computer Science and Engineering program at Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth is ₹12,00,000 for the entire four-year duration. The fees are divided into semesters, with each semester costing ₹3,00,000.

Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers instruction, laboratory sessions, access to digital resources, and administrative services provided during the academic year. It is non-refundable except in cases of withdrawal before admission.

Hostel Rent: Hostel rent includes accommodation in a single or shared room with basic amenities such as bed, study table, chair, Wi-Fi, and 24/7 security. Students can choose between different types of rooms based on availability and preference.

Mess Advance: The mess advance covers meals for the entire semester, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to foster a supportive community environment.

Medical Fees: Medical fees cover basic healthcare services, including consultations with medical staff, first aid, and emergency treatment within the campus hospital.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees support recreational activities and sports facilities available on campus. They contribute to maintaining gym equipment, organizing events, and promoting physical fitness among students.

Examination Fees: Examination fees cover administrative costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations, including question paper preparation, evaluation, and result declaration.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The institute provides comfortable hostel accommodations for students. Hostels are equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, internet connectivity, and laundry facilities. Room types include single occupancy rooms, double occupancy rooms, and triple occupancy rooms.

Mess charges are fixed per semester and cover three meals daily. Students can opt for different meal plans based on their preferences and dietary requirements. The mess system ensures hygienic food preparation and regular quality checks to maintain high standards of nutrition and safety.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The institute offers various financial assistance schemes to deserving students:

• SC/ST/PwD Students: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a partial concession on hostel charges based on income slabs.
• EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections get a 50% reduction in tuition fees and a 25% concession on hostel charges.
• MCM (Minority Community): MCM students are eligible for a 30% reduction in tuition fees and a 15% concession on hostel charges.

Applications for fee waivers and concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates. The selection process is based on verified documents and financial eligibility criteria.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees can be paid through various modes including online banking, NEFT/RTGS, debit cards, credit cards, and cash at the institute's designated payment centers. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to ensure timely processing of admission formalities.

Late fees are applicable for payments beyond the due date, with charges calculated at 1% per month on the outstanding amount. Refunds are processed according to the university guidelines and are subject to verification of documents and compliance with refund policies.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students must submit a formal application along with necessary documentation. Refunds are processed within 30 days after verification of the application and settlement of dues.
