    Application Procedure

The application process begins with online registration through the university's official portal. Applicants must fill out the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, and work experience information.

Required documents include scanned copies of academic transcripts, identification documents, passport-size photographs, a statement of purpose (SOP), and any relevant certificates or awards. The SOP should articulate the candidate's motivation for pursuing an MBA, career aspirations, and how the program aligns with their goals.

After reviewing applications, shortlisted candidates are invited for a written examination. The examination is conducted online and assesses candidates on quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and general awareness.

    Written Examination

The written examination consists of four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. The exam duration is 2 hours, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Quantitative Aptitude tests mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities using concepts such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation. Verbal Ability evaluates reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and verbal reasoning skills. Logical Reasoning includes questions on pattern recognition, series completion, syllogisms, and critical thinking.

General Awareness covers current events, business news, general knowledge, and social issues relevant to the business world. The examination format is objective with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) distributed across different sections.

    Group Discussion

Following the written test, selected candidates proceed to group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) rounds. In GD, candidates are evaluated on their communication skills, leadership qualities, team collaboration, and ability to articulate ideas clearly.

Groups of 10-12 students are formed, and each group is given a topic related to business or current affairs. The discussion typically lasts for 15-20 minutes, with no specific time limit imposed by the facilitator.

    Personal Interview

The personal interview round assesses the candidate's motivation, career goals, fit with the program, and overall personality traits. Interview panels consist of faculty members from the Department of Management and industry professionals.

Candidates are asked questions about their academic background, work experience (if any), reasons for choosing this program, understanding of current business trends, and personal strengths and weaknesses. The interview evaluates not only knowledge but also communication skills, confidence, and analytical thinking abilities.

    Counseling Process

The counseling process involves seat allocation based on merit scores derived from the combined performance in written examination, GD, and PI. Candidates are ranked according to their total score across all three stages.

Seats are allocated using a centralized system where candidates fill preferences for different categories (General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST). The counseling process is conducted online through the university's portal, allowing candidates to modify their choices until the final seat allocation.

    Preparation Strategy

For aspirants preparing for admission, it is recommended to focus on building a strong foundation in quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning. Understanding current affairs and global business trends is essential for group discussion and interview rounds.

Practice tests and mock interviews are highly beneficial for improving performance in each stage of the selection process. Candidates should also read business magazines, newspapers, and industry reports to stay updated on recent developments and emerging trends in the business world.

Time management is crucial during preparation. A structured study plan that allocates time for each subject and includes regular revision sessions helps ensure comprehensive coverage of topics.
