Fee Components Explained

The fee structure at Eternal University Sirmour is designed to provide comprehensive support for all aspects of student life, including academics, health, and extracurricular activities.

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, library access, laboratory facilities, and academic resources. This component ensures that students have access to high-quality educational materials and modern learning environments.

Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation for students living on campus. The hostel facility includes 24/7 security, maintenance services, and communal spaces for social interaction.

Mess Advance: Prepaid mess charges cover meals during the semester. Students can adjust their mess bills at the end of each month based on consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards student welfare initiatives, including scholarships, emergency assistance, and cultural programs.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the campus health center, including consultations, medications, and preventive care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and recreational activities, including gym access, sports equipment, and organized events.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including evaluation, result processing, and certificate generation.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options catering to different needs and budgets. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy rooms with varying rent structures.

Mess charges are adjusted monthly based on consumption patterns. Students can opt for vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals at a fixed rate per meal. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or face financial hardships.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Eternal University Sirmour provides various financial assistance schemes to ensure accessibility for all eligible students.

Eligibility criteria for scholarships include academic excellence, economic background, and special circumstances such as disability or orphan status. Income slabs for different categories are defined as follows:

• SC/ST/PwD: Annual income up to INR 3 lakhs
• EWS: Annual income between INR 3-6 lakhs
• MCM: Annual income between INR 6-8 lakhs

Students must submit relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates (for SC/ST), disability certificates (for PwD), and academic transcripts for scholarship consideration.

The application process involves filling out an online form through the university portal, uploading required documents, and attending a screening committee interview if selected.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made before the start of each semester. Students can make payments using net banking, debit/credit cards, or demand drafts. Late payments attract a nominal late fee of INR 500 per day.

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:

• Full refund if withdrawal occurs within one month of admission
• Refund of 90% if withdrawal occurs between one and three months
• No refund after three months of admission

Students must submit a written application for withdrawal along with supporting documents. Refunds are processed within 45 days of approval, subject to deductions for any dues or penalties.
