    Entrance Examination

The primary mode of admission is through JEE Advanced, which serves as the qualifying examination for all candidates applying to the program. Candidates who appear in JEE Advanced must score above the minimum qualifying marks set by the institute.

For those who do not qualify through JEE Advanced, alternative pathways such as direct admissions based on merit in state-level exams are considered under specific conditions. However, priority is always given to candidates with valid JEE Advanced scores.

    Counseling Process

After the declaration of results, candidates are invited for counseling sessions conducted by the Institute. During this process, students fill out their preferences for available seats based on their ranks and category-wise cutoffs.

The counseling is conducted in multiple rounds where candidates get opportunities to modify their choices until all seats are filled. The final allocation of seats is done according to merit and preference order after considering reservation policies.

    Seat Acceptance

Once a seat is allocated, the candidate must confirm acceptance by paying the required fees within the specified time frame. Failure to do so results in forfeiture of the allocated seat.

    Preparation Strategy for Aspirants

Successful preparation for the entrance examination requires a strategic approach combining conceptual understanding, regular practice, and mock tests. Aspirants should start by mastering fundamental concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Time management is crucial during preparation. Students are advised to create a study schedule that allows adequate time for each subject while maintaining consistency. Regular revision and solving previous years' question papers enhance familiarity with the exam pattern.

Mock tests conducted by coaching institutes or online platforms provide valuable insights into performance trends and help identify areas needing improvement. Focus on weak subjects and seek guidance from experienced mentors when necessary.

The counseling process involves careful choice filling. Candidates should research available seats, understand their rank position, and prioritize institutions accordingly. It is advisable to include a mix of preferred and safety choices to ensure seat allocation.
