    Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, library access, laboratory use, and administrative costs for each semester.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus-hostels with shared facilities and basic amenities.

Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges covering three meals daily for the entire semester.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards student welfare, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by campus medical centers.

Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to gymnasiums, sports facilities, and cultural events.

Examination Fees: Covers examination registration, evaluation, and result processing charges.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Students can opt for different types of hostels based on their preferences and budget. Options include single, double, triple, and quad occupancy rooms with varying monthly charges.

The mess system operates on a prepaid model where students pay in advance for meals throughout the semester. The billing cycle includes three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with options for vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals.

Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to academic commitments, medical reasons, or travel. Rebates are processed monthly and depend on attendance records.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

We offer financial assistance to eligible students through various waiver schemes:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee and hostel charges with partial reimbursement for mess fees.
    • EWS Category: 50% discount on tuition fee and full waiver on hostel rent with no rebate on mess charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% discount on tuition fee and 10% discount on hostel charges.

Eligibility criteria include income slabs, caste certificates, disability certificates, and other relevant documentation. Applications must be submitted online along with supporting documents by the specified deadline.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees are payable through online portals or bank transfers. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated via official notices and email alerts.

Late fees of 5% per month are applicable for delayed payments beyond the due date. Refunds, if any, are processed according to university guidelines and are subject to approval by the finance committee.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted with valid reasons and supporting documents. Refunds are typically processed within 30 working days after verification of all necessary paperwork.
