Component-wise Explanation

The tuition fee covers access to all academic resources, including classroom instruction, library facilities, laboratory sessions, and online learning platforms. It also includes administrative support and infrastructure maintenance.

Hostel rent provides accommodation for students residing off-campus. The university offers various room types, including single, double, and triple occupancy options. Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as bed, study table, wardrobe, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mess advance is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses. The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students are charged for their consumption based on attendance records.

The Student Benevolent Fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies during their academic journey. Contributions to this fund are voluntary and can be made by parents or guardians at the time of admission.

Medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided within the campus medical center. These include consultations, minor treatments, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees support the maintenance of sports facilities and recreational activities on campus. Students are encouraged to participate in various sports events and cultural programs organized by the university.

Examination fees cover the costs associated with conducting semester-end exams, including invigilation, result processing, and certificate generation.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel charges vary depending on the room type. Single occupancy rooms cost INR 25,000 per semester, while double and triple occupancy rooms are priced at INR 18,000 and INR 15,000 respectively.

The mess billing system operates on a prepaid model where students pay in advance for meals. Monthly bills are generated based on actual consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month. Rebates are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or face unforeseen circumstances such as illness or travel.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial assistance programs are available to eligible students based on their economic background and academic performance.

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 50% concession on tuition fees. Additionally, they may be eligible for full scholarships covering accommodation and meal expenses.
• EWS Category: Eligible students can avail of a 25% discount on tuition fees along with partial assistance in hostel charges.
• MCM (Minority Community Member): MCM students are entitled to a 10% reduction in tuition fees and access to special financial aid schemes.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted online through the university portal along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The process is reviewed annually by the finance committee to ensure fair distribution of benefits.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make payments within the specified deadline each semester. Late fees of INR 1000 per day are applicable for delayed payments beyond the due date. Payments can be made through net banking, debit/credit cards, or demand drafts.

If a student withdraws from the program before completing one academic year, they may be eligible for a refund of fees paid, subject to deductions as per university guidelines. Refunds are processed within 60 days of submission of withdrawal forms and supporting documents.
