Fee Component Details

Tuition Fee: This is the primary component of the fee structure and covers access to all academic resources, including lectures, laboratory sessions, online learning platforms, and faculty mentorship. The tuition fee is fixed annually and does not vary based on course load or credit hours.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation is provided in well-maintained hostels with modern amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 24-hour security. The rent includes utilities and basic furnishings, ensuring a comfortable living environment for students.

Mess Advance: Students are required to pay an advance toward their mess charges at the beginning of each semester. The mess billing system is transparent and allows students to monitor their consumption and adjust accordingly. Rebates are available for students who consume less than the average.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards this fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to promote a sense of community and mutual support among students.

Medical Fees: This covers access to on-campus medical facilities, including consultations, basic treatments, and emergency care. Students also receive health insurance coverage through the university's partnership with leading healthcare providers.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees support extracurricular activities such as sports tournaments, cultural events, and student clubs. They contribute to maintaining the quality of recreational facilities and organizing engaging events throughout the academic year.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing. The fee is adjusted annually based on inflation and operational expenses.

Other Recurring Charges: Includes miscellaneous charges such as library fees, computer lab usage, and additional course materials. These are minimal and transparently disclosed to students at the start of each semester.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options to accommodate diverse preferences and budgets. Hostels are categorized into single, double, triple, and quad occupancy rooms, with shared bathrooms and common areas. Each room is equipped with essential furniture and amenities such as study tables, wardrobes, and beds.

For mess charges, students can opt for different meal plans including breakfast, lunch, dinner, or full-day meals. The billing system is integrated with the university portal, allowing students to view their consumption history and manage their accounts effectively. Monthly rebates are provided for students who consume less than the average usage.

Special accommodations are available for students with disabilities, including accessible rooms and personalized meal plans. The mess staff ensures that dietary restrictions due to allergies or religious beliefs are respected and accommodated.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several fee waiver options for eligible students based on income slabs and category-specific benefits. These include:

• SC/ST/PwD: 100% concession in tuition fee and hostel rent.
• EWS: 50% concession in tuition fee and hostel rent.
• MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% concession in tuition fee and hostel rent.

Eligibility criteria are determined based on official documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, and disability certificates. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents within the specified deadline each year.

Additional scholarships are available for meritorious students who score above a certain threshold in entrance examinations or demonstrate exceptional performance during their academic tenure. These include merit-based awards, need-based assistance, and special recognition for research contributions or extracurricular achievements.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid through the university's online portal using net banking, debit cards, or credit cards. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day until the dues are cleared. Students who fail to clear their dues within 15 days may face restrictions on accessing academic resources or appearing for examinations.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program after completing the first semester. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of the withdrawal form and necessary documentation. The amount refunded excludes the portion corresponding to hostel rent and mess charges if applicable.

Students must ensure timely payment of all fees, including any additional charges or adjustments made during the academic year. Regular communication with the finance department ensures clarity regarding billing and payment schedules.
