    Component-wise Explanation

    Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources. This includes course materials, software licenses, and access to digital libraries.

    Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in a shared room with basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and internet connectivity.

    Mess Advance: Prepaid amount for meals provided by the college canteen. This is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.

    Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies.

    Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available within the campus health center.

    Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities including sports, cultural events, and club activities.

    Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester exams and assessments.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

    The hostel offers three types of rooms: Single Occupancy (SO), Double Occupancy (DO), and Triple Occupancy (TO). SO rooms cost INR 10,000 per semester, DO rooms cost INR 5,000, and TO rooms cost INR 3,000.

    The mess operates on a monthly billing system with meals priced at INR 100 per day. Students can opt for daily or monthly meal plans. Rebates are available for students from economically weaker sections (EWS) and PwD candidates, subject to documentation.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

    Candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible for full fee waivers. EWS students may receive partial concessions based on income slabs:

    • Annual Income up to INR 200,000: 50% waiver
    • Annual Income between INR 200,000 and INR 400,000: 25% waiver
    • Annual Income above INR 400,000: No concession

    Merit-based scholarships are also available for top-performing students. The application process requires submission of income certificates and academic transcripts.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

    Fees must be paid within the first week of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day. Students can make payments through online portals or at the finance office.

    In case of withdrawal, the refund policy applies as follows:

    • Withdrawal before first month: Full refund minus administrative charges
    • Withdrawal after first month: Refund of 70% of paid fees
    • Withdrawal after two months: Refund of 50% of paid fees

    Refunds are processed within 30 days of the withdrawal application being approved.
