    Project-Based Learning Philosophy

The department's philosophy on project-based learning is grounded in the belief that authentic experiences accelerate knowledge transfer and skill development. Projects are structured to mirror real-world business challenges, encouraging students to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations.

The mini-projects undertaken during semesters 2 and 3 provide students with foundational experience in collaborative problem-solving and project management. Each project is assigned a faculty mentor who guides students through the process of defining objectives, gathering data, analyzing findings, and presenting conclusions.

The final-year capstone project offers an opportunity for students to work directly with industry partners or conduct independent research under faculty supervision. Projects typically span 10-12 weeks and require students to submit a detailed report, deliver a presentation to stakeholders, and demonstrate their ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Evaluation criteria for projects include creativity, analytical depth, adherence to deadlines, clarity of communication, and the impact of recommendations on business outcomes. Students are encouraged to select topics aligned with their career interests or current industry trends, ensuring relevance and engagement throughout the process.
