    Detailed Fee Components

The total fee structure includes several components that contribute to the overall cost of education:

    • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, and academic resources.
    • Hostel Rent: Monthly accommodation charges for residential students.
    • Mess Advance: Prepaid meal expenses covering the entire semester.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: Contribution towards student welfare programs and extracurricular activities.
    • Medical Fees: Coverage for basic medical services provided on campus.
    • Gymkhana Fees: Charges for gym facilities, sports equipment, and recreational activities.
    • Examination Fees: Covers assessment, evaluation, and result processing costs.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Gyan Ganga College of Technology offers two types of hostels: single occupancy rooms and shared dormitories. Room charges vary based on amenities and location:

    • Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹40,000 per semester including utilities.
    • Shared Dormitories: ₹35,000 per semester with shared facilities.

The mess system provides three meals daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner) at an advance rate of ₹30,000 per semester. Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to illness or other valid reasons.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial assistance is available through various schemes:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for eligible candidates with income below ₹4 lakh annually.
    • EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fees for families earning between ₹4-8 lakh per annum.
    • MCM (Minority Community): 25% discount on hostel charges for students from minority communities.

To apply, students must submit income certificates and category documents to the finance department. Applications are reviewed quarterly, and notifications are sent via email and SMS.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made through online banking or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day beyond the due date:

    • Payment Deadlines: Fees must be paid within 7 days of the start of each semester.
    • Refund Rules: Refunds are processed only in case of withdrawal or transfer from the college, subject to deduction of administrative charges and hostel fees for the current semester.
