Fee Structure Overview

Fee Components Explanation

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee contributes to a fund that supports financially disadvantaged students through scholarships, emergency assistance, and educational grants.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations with doctors, medicine dispensing, and emergency medical care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports the maintenance of sports facilities and activities organized by the student union. These include gym access, sports tournaments, and recreational events.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting exams, evaluating answer scripts, and issuing result certificates.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides accommodation in air-conditioned hostels with varying room types to suit different preferences and budgets. Rooms are allocated based on availability and gender segregation.

Room Types:

• Single Occupancy Room (INR 10,000/month)
• Double Occupancy Room (INR 8,000/month)
• Triple Occupancy Room (INR 6,000/month)

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle where students prepay for meals based on their consumption patterns. Special diets such as vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or allergen-free options are available upon request.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance schemes to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

Scholarship Categories:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for tuition and hostel charges
• EWS Category: 50% fee concession on tuition and hostel charges
• MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% fee concession on tuition and hostel charges

Eligibility Criteria:

• Income Slab: For EWS category, annual income should be less than INR 8 lakh
• Residence: Must be a resident of India for at least three years prior to admission
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in qualifying examination

Applications for financial aid must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and residence proof.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are made through online channels using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. The university provides detailed instructions for payment procedures and ensures secure transactions.

Payment Deadlines:

• First Semester: By 15th June of the academic year
• Subsequent Semesters: By 10th July of each semester

Late payments attract a penalty fee of INR 500 per day until the dues are cleared. Students are advised to pay fees on time to avoid any disruptions in their academic progress.

Refund Policy:

If a student withdraws from the program before completing the academic year, a refund is processed according to the following rules:

• Full refund (minus administrative charges) if withdrawal occurs within one month of admission
• 75% refund if withdrawal occurs between 1-3 months
• 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between 3-6 months
• No refund after six months of admission

The refund process typically takes 30 working days to complete after the withdrawal request is approved.
