    Admission Process Overview

The admission process for the Bachelor of Computer Science program at Iasscom Fortune Institute of Technology is designed to identify and select high-caliber candidates who demonstrate academic excellence, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for technology. The selection process involves multiple stages including application submission, entrance examination, counseling, and seat allocation.

Applicants must first register on the official website and complete the online application form. The form requires personal details, educational background, contact information, and preferences for admission categories. After submission, applicants are required to pay the application fee, which is non-refundable and must be paid before the deadline.

The next stage involves appearing for an entrance examination conducted by the institute. For candidates who have appeared in JEE Advanced or JEE Main, scores from these exams will be considered as qualifying marks. Candidates who have not appeared in any of these exams must take the Iasscom Fortune Institute of Technology Entrance Examination (IFE). The IFE is a comprehensive test covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning.

After the entrance examination, shortlisted candidates are called for counseling sessions. During counseling, applicants must submit necessary documents including 12th-grade marksheet, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), and other relevant certificates. Candidates are then required to fill in their preferences for various courses offered by the institute.

Seat allocation is done based on merit and preferences filled during counseling. The final list of selected candidates is published online along with their allocated seats. Selected students must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the specified time frame. Failure to confirm admission results in forfeiture of the seat.

    Exam Preparation Strategy

Preparing for entrance examinations is a critical aspect of the admission process. Candidates should begin their preparation early, ideally at least six months before the exam date. A structured approach involving regular study sessions, mock tests, and performance analysis can significantly improve results.

For JEE Advanced aspirants, it is important to focus on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. Practice solving previous year papers and take timed mock tests to simulate exam conditions. Time management skills are crucial for success in competitive exams.

Candidates who opt for the IFE should familiarize themselves with the syllabus and practice sample questions. The exam format includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type questions (NATs). Regular revision and concept-building sessions are recommended to ensure comprehensive preparation.

    Counseling Procedure

The counseling procedure is conducted in a transparent manner to ensure fairness in seat allocation. Candidates who qualify for counseling must log into the official website and fill in their preferences for various courses offered by the institute.

During the counseling process, candidates are required to submit documents such as 12th-grade marksheet, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), and other relevant certificates. The counseling committee verifies all documents and allocates seats based on merit and preference choices.

The final list of selected candidates is published online along with their allocated seats. Selected students must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the specified time frame. Failure to confirm admission results in forfeiture of the seat.

Choice filling strategy plays a vital role in the counseling process. Candidates should carefully consider their preferences and rank the courses based on their interest and future career plans. It is advisable to fill choices strategically, keeping top preferences at the beginning and alternatives towards the end.
