    Project-Based Learning Philosophy

The department believes that experiential learning is fundamental to developing competent and compassionate nurses. Mini-projects are assigned at the end of each semester to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills among students.

Mini-projects are typically focused on real-world issues such as improving patient satisfaction scores, implementing infection control measures, or designing community health awareness campaigns. Each project is supervised by a faculty member who guides students through research, data collection, analysis, and presentation stages.

The final-year thesis/capstone project requires students to select a topic related to current healthcare challenges, conduct independent research, and present findings in a formal report and oral defense session. Students are paired with faculty mentors based on their interests and expertise areas.

Evaluation criteria include originality of approach, depth of analysis, clarity of presentation, adherence to ethical standards, and practical applicability of proposed solutions. The capstone project contributes significantly to the student's overall grade and serves as a showcase of their capabilities in nursing research and practice.
