    Admission Process Overview

The admission process for the Nutrition program at IIPHG follows a structured and transparent framework designed to select high-caliber candidates who demonstrate aptitude, passion, and potential for success in the field of nutrition science.

Applicants must register online through the official website during the designated application period. Once registered, they are required to fill out an application form containing personal details, academic history, and preferences for admission categories. The registration fee is INR 1000 for general candidates and INR 500 for reserved categories.

After submission of the application, candidates must upload scanned copies of all relevant documents including mark sheets from class 10th and 12th, Aadhaar card, caste certificate (if applicable), and any other supporting certificates. All documents must be clearly visible and legible to avoid rejection during verification.

Eligibility verification is conducted by the admissions committee based on criteria specified in the prospectus. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements proceed to the next stage, which includes a written examination or counseling round depending on the category and number of applicants.

    Strategic Preparation Tips for Aspirants

To succeed in the admission process, aspirants should begin preparing well in advance. The syllabus for the entrance examination typically includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics at the 12th-grade level.

    Key preparation strategies include:

    • Start with NCERT textbooks to build a strong conceptual base before moving on to advanced materials.
    • Create a detailed study plan that allocates time for each subject based on difficulty levels and weightage in exams.
    • Practice solving previous years' question papers regularly to improve speed and accuracy.
    • Join coaching institutes or online platforms for structured guidance and doubt-clearing sessions.
    • Focus on understanding rather than rote learning, especially in subjects like Biology where application-based questions are common.

During the counseling process, candidates must carefully choose their preferred institutions and courses based on their ranks and category. It is advisable to have a list of safe choices along with ambitious ones, considering factors such as location, infrastructure, faculty quality, and placement records.
