    Hostel & Mess Charges

    IIRS offers multiple types of hostels with varying amenities:

    • Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹25,000 per semester for 160 sq ft room with attached bathroom and AC.
    • Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹20,000 per semester for 120 sq ft room with shared bathroom and basic amenities.
    • Triple Occupancy Rooms: ₹15,000 per semester for 80 sq ft room with shared bathroom and no AC.

    Mess charges are calculated based on consumption. Students receive a monthly allowance of ₹1,500 to cover meals, which is deducted from their mess advance. Rebates are available for students staying in single rooms or those who opt out of the mess system entirely.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

    IIRS offers several financial aid options to deserving students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students belonging to these categories with valid certificates.
    • EWS Category: 50% discount on tuition and hostel fees.
    • MCM (Married Child of a Government Employee): 30% concession on all charges.

    Eligibility criteria include income slabs, family size, and educational background. Applications must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

    Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day until the dues are cleared.

    If a student withdraws from the program, refund rules apply:

    • Before 15 days of admission: Full refund minus administrative charges.
    • Between 15-30 days of admission: Refund of 75% after deducting administrative fees.
    • After 30 days of admission: No refund is processed.

    The refund process typically takes 45 days to complete and is transferred directly to the student's bank account.
