    Project-Based Learning Philosophy

Our department emphasizes project-based learning to foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students. The curriculum includes mandatory mini-projects in the second year and a comprehensive final-year thesis or capstone project in the fourth year.

Mini-projects are designed to reinforce classroom concepts through hands-on applications. Students work in teams to solve real-world business challenges provided by industry partners or faculty mentors. Projects are evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, teamwork, presentation skills, and impact analysis.

The capstone project is a significant component of the final year curriculum. Students select a topic relevant to their chosen specialization and conduct an in-depth study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. The process involves literature review, data collection, methodology development, and presentation of findings in both written and oral formats.

Students are encouraged to participate in national-level competitions such as the National Business Plan Competition, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Case Competitions, and the All India Management Association (AIMA) events. These platforms provide opportunities for networking, gaining recognition, and enhancing career prospects.
