Fee Component Breakdown

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers access to all lectures, practical sessions, library resources, and academic support services. It is subject to annual review based on inflation and operational costs.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided in shared rooms with basic amenities including bed, study table, chair, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The rent includes utilities such as electricity and water supply.

Mess Advance: A monthly mess advance ensures that students have access to nutritious meals throughout the academic year. The amount varies based on meal plans and seasonal adjustments.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and go toward providing assistance in times of need.

Medical Fees: These fees cover basic medical consultations, emergency treatments, and preventive healthcare services available on campus. Additional charges may apply for specialized procedures.

Gymkhana Fees: The gymkhana fee includes access to sports facilities, fitness equipment, and recreational activities organized by the university's athletic department.

Examination Fees: These fees cover the cost of conducting semester-end exams, internal assessments, and certification processes. They also include administrative costs related to grading and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Indrashil University Mehsana are designed to provide a comfortable living environment conducive to learning and personal development. Students can choose from various room types:

• Single Occupancy Room: ₹80,000 per semester (includes all amenities)
• Double Occupancy Room: ₹70,000 per semester
• Triple Occupancy Room: ₹60,000 per semester

The mess system operates on a prepaid model where students pay in advance for meals. Monthly billing includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with options for dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or halal meals.

Rebate policies are available for students who opt out of certain meals or travel during holidays. Full rebate is granted if the student does not consume meals for an entire month, while partial rebates are provided based on usage.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial aid options to eligible students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees. Additionally, they are eligible for a full waiver on hostel rent and mess charges.
• EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 25% waiver on tuition fees along with partial concessions on other components.
• MCM (Minority Community Member): Students from minority communities can apply for scholarships based on income slabs and academic performance. The scholarship amount ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹40,000 per semester.

To apply for these benefits, students must submit relevant documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, or disability certificates through the university portal. Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee and decisions are communicated within two weeks of submission.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI transfers. The payment deadline is set at the beginning of each semester, with late payments attracting a penalty of ₹1000 per day until full payment is received.

If a student withdraws from the program before completing the academic year, the refund policy applies as follows:

• Withdrawal within 30 days: Full refund minus administrative charges of ₹5000
• Withdrawal between 31-60 days: 70% refund minus administrative charges of ₹5000
• Withdrawal after 60 days: No refund is granted unless the case is reviewed by the academic board

The university reserves the right to adjust fees based on inflation, infrastructure upgrades, or regulatory changes. Any modifications will be communicated at least one month in advance through official notices and emails.
