    Admission Process

The admission to the Law program at Indus University Ahmedabad follows a structured process that includes online applications, document verification, and merit-based selection. The university accepts applications through various pathways including JEE Advanced, JEE Main, or direct admissions for students with exceptional academic records.

Applications are submitted via the official website of Indus University Ahmedabad. Prospective students must register on the portal, fill in personal details, educational background, and upload required documents such as 10th and 12th mark sheets, identity proof, and passport-size photographs. The application form also includes a section for specifying preferred categories (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD) which affects the selection process.

Once the application is submitted, candidates are required to appear for a written test or counseling session depending on the pathway chosen. For those applying through JEE Advanced or JEE Main, scores are considered as part of the overall merit list. Candidates who do not qualify through these exams may still be considered based on their performance in an internal aptitude test conducted by Indus University.

After shortlisting candidates based on merit, a document verification process is initiated. This includes verification of academic records, identity documents, caste certificates (if applicable), and any other relevant documentation required for admission purposes. The verification is conducted either online or offline depending on the candidate's location and the prevailing circumstances.

Candidates who pass the document verification stage are then called for counseling sessions where they select their preferred branch of study and seat allocation takes place based on merit, category preferences, and availability of seats. Final admission letters are issued after successful completion of the counseling process.
