Fee Components Explanation

Single Occupancy: Private room with attached bathroom, internet access, and study desk. Monthly rent is approximately INR 15,000.

Double Occupancy: Shared room with two students, featuring a shared bathroom, common area, and basic amenities. Monthly rent is approximately INR 10,000.

Triple Occupancy: Shared room for three students, including shared bathroom facilities and common areas. Monthly rent is approximately INR 7,500.

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed per day, with a standard rate of INR 250-300 per meal. Students can opt for different meal plans depending on their dietary requirements and preferences.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds in case of extended absences due to illness or other valid reasons. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days missed and approved by the hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various forms of financial assistance to eligible students, ensuring that economic constraints do not hinder access to quality education.

SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% reduction in hostel charges. Additional concessions are available for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 30% reduction in hostel charges. This category includes students whose annual family income is below INR 8 lakh.

MCM (Minority Community): Students from minority communities may qualify for partial fee waivers based on income criteria and other eligibility factors. The scholarship amount varies depending on individual circumstances.

The application process involves submission of relevant documents including caste certificates, income proofs, and medical reports if applicable. Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee that evaluates each case based on merit and need.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students must make timely payments to avoid late fees or disqualification from academic activities. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with a grace period of 10 days for fee payment after the initial deadline.

Late fees are calculated at 5% per month on overdue amounts, subject to a maximum cap. Students who fail to pay within the specified timeframe may face suspension or cancellation of enrollment.

The refund policy applies to students withdrawing from the program before the completion of their studies. Refunds are processed after deducting administrative charges and any outstanding dues. The refund amount is typically credited within 30 working days of submission of the withdrawal request.
