    Fee Components Explained

    • Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, including lectures, laboratory sessions, and access to academic resources such as libraries, digital databases, and online learning platforms. The fee structure is designed to ensure quality education without compromising affordability.
    • Hostel Rent: Accommodation in university-hosted hostels is provided at a nominal rate that includes utilities, security, and maintenance services. Hostels are equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, AC, and laundry facilities.
    • Mess Advance: Students are required to pay an advance for their mess expenses, which covers meals during the academic year. The mess billing system is transparent and includes options for monthly or quarterly settlements.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships due to unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies or family issues. Contributions are voluntary but mandatory for all students.
    • Medical Fees: Covers access to on-campus health services, including consultations with doctors and pharmacy services. The fee ensures that students have timely access to healthcare during their stay at the university.
    • Gymkhana Fees: This fee supports extracurricular activities such as sports events, cultural programs, and student clubs. It contributes to the overall campus environment and student well-being.
    • Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

University-hosted hostels offer different room types to accommodate varying needs:

    • Single Occupancy Room: ₹30,000/year (includes utilities)
    • Double Occupancy Room: ₹25,000/year (includes utilities)
    • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹20,000/year (includes utilities)

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive bills based on consumption and can settle accounts through online payment methods or cash at the hostel office.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several fee waiver schemes for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for students belonging to these categories.
    • EWS Category: 50% fee waiver for students from EWS category with annual income below ₹2 lakhs.
    • MCM (Minority Community): 25% fee concession for students from minority communities.

Students must submit relevant documentation such as caste certificates, income certificates, and disability certificates to apply for fee waivers. The application process is conducted online through the university portal, and decisions are communicated within 10 working days.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made through various methods including net banking, credit/debit cards, demand drafts, and cash at the university office. All transactions must be completed before the start of each semester to avoid penalties.

Late payments attract a fee of ₹500 per day until the outstanding amount is cleared. Refunds are processed according to university guidelines, with deductions made for late fees and administrative charges if applicable.

Students who withdraw from the program within the first month are eligible for a full refund, while those withdrawing after one month receive 80% of the paid fees. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 30 working days.
