    Fee Components Explained

    Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers access to all academic resources including lectures, course materials, labs, and faculty support. It reflects the high-quality education delivered by experienced faculty members and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

    Hostel Rent

Hostel accommodation is provided in shared rooms with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity. The rent includes utilities like electricity and water but excludes meal charges.

    Mess Advance

A mess advance fee is collected to cover initial meal expenses for the semester. Students can adjust their mess bills monthly based on consumption, with refunds available if balances remain after final settlement.

    Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and help provide assistance during critical times without affecting academic progress.

    Medical Fees

Annual medical fees cover basic healthcare services, including routine checkups, vaccinations, and emergency treatments within the campus health center. Additional costs may apply for specialized care or hospitalization.

    Gymkhana Fees

Gymkhana fees contribute to maintaining sports facilities and organizing extracurricular activities. Students gain access to gymnasiums, playing fields, and recreational programs that promote a healthy lifestyle.

    Examination Fees

These fees cover the cost of conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, result processing, and certificate issuance. They ensure fair and standardized evaluation across all academic disciplines.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

    Room Types

The hostel offers various room types to accommodate different needs:

    • Single Occupancy Room: Private room with attached bathroom, costing INR 30,000 per semester.
    • Double Occupancy Room: Shared room with common bathroom, costing INR 28,000 per semester.
    • Triple Occupancy Room: Shared room with common bathroom, costing INR 25,000 per semester.

    Mess Billing System

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive bills based on their consumption, which is calculated using smart cards or biometric systems. Adjustments are made for dietary preferences and any missed meals due to illness or travel.

    Rebate Policies

Students who stay home during holidays or take leaves can avail rebates on hostel charges. The rebate policy allows up to 50% discount on room rent during extended breaks, subject to prior approval from hostel authorities.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options for eligible students:

    Eligibility Criteria

    • SC/ST/PwD Category Students: Income below INR 5 lakh per annum qualifies for full fee waiver.
    • EWS Category Students: Income between INR 5 lakh and 10 lakh qualifies for partial fee concession.
    • MCM (Migrant Community Member): Full fee waiver available upon submission of valid documents.

    Benefits

    • Full Fee Waiver: Covers entire tuition and hostel fees for SC/ST/PwD students with income below INR 5 lakh.
    • Partial Fee Concession: Reduces total fees by 25% for EWS students meeting income criteria.
    • Scholarship Programs: Merit-based scholarships up to 100% of tuition fee for top-performing students in JEE Advanced or equivalent exams.

    Application Process

To apply for fee waivers or concessions, students must submit:

    1. Income certificate from the competent authority
    2. Category certificate (SC/ST/PwD/EWS)
    3. Admission letter and registration form
    4. Any other supporting documentation as requested

All applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee, and decisions are communicated within 10 working days of submission.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

    Payment Deadlines

Fees must be paid by the specified deadline each semester to avoid late penalties. Late payments incur a fixed fee of INR 500 per day until cleared in full.

    Late Fee Calculations

Late fees are calculated daily from the due date and accumulate until the total amount is settled. No exceptions are made for holidays or weekends unless explicitly stated in official notices.

    Refund Rules

If a student withdraws from the program, the following refund rules apply:

    • Withdrawal before 15 days: Full refund of tuition and hostel fees, minus processing charges of INR 1000.
    • Withdrawal between 15–30 days: Refund of 80% of tuition and hostel fees, minus processing charges of INR 1000.
    • Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund is processed except for examination fees, which are refunded proportionally.

Refunds are processed within 45 working days from the date of withdrawal application and are credited directly to the student's bank account.
