    Fee Structure Components Explained

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, laboratory access, and course materials. This fee is paid annually in two installments.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted hostels with shared rooms and common facilities. Single occupancy rooms are available for an additional charge.

Mess Advance: Paid upfront to cover food expenses for the semester. The amount is adjusted based on actual consumption at the end of the semester.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards student welfare activities and scholarships.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services provided by the university’s health center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational and extracurricular activities including sports, cultural events, and club funding.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end exams and evaluation processes.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university maintains several hostels equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, 24-hour security, laundry services, and recreational spaces. Hostel charges vary by room type:

    • Shared Rooms (3-4 persons): INR 45000 per semester
    • Single Rooms: INR 60000 per semester

The mess system operates on a prepaid model where students pay an advance for meals. The average daily meal cost is approximately INR 150, and adjustments are made at the end of each semester based on consumption records.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to support meritorious and economically disadvantaged students:

    • Merit-Based Scholarships: For top performers in Class 12th with minimum 90% marks. Students receive up to 50% waiver on tuition fees.
    • Income-Based Concessions: Eligible for students from families earning less than INR 3 lakh annually. Full waiver on hostel rent and mess charges.
    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver on all fees including tuition, hostel, and mess.
    • EWS Concession: 25% discount on total fees for eligible students from economically weaker sections.
    • MCM (Minority Community Merit): 10% concession on fees for students from minority communities with academic excellence.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online through the university portal or authorized banks. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to avoid late fees and penalties. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 1000 per month, starting from the due date.

If a student withdraws from the program before completing one semester, a refund of 70% of paid fees is processed after deducting administrative charges and hostel dues. Refunds are typically processed within 30 days of withdrawal approval.
