    Admissions

Admissions to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program at Lords University Alwar are conducted through a competitive selection process involving national-level examinations like JEE Advanced or JEE Main, along with internal assessments and counseling procedures.

    Entrance Examination Process

Applicants must qualify in either JEE Advanced or JEE Main to be eligible for admission. The university accepts scores from both exams and considers them equally for merit-based ranking. Candidates who have appeared in JEE Main but not advanced may also apply if they meet the minimum qualifying criteria set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The application form is available online via the official website approximately two months before the exam date. Applicants must fill in personal details, academic history, and choose their preferred branch and campus location. A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- is required at the time of submission.

After clearing the entrance examination, candidates undergo a document verification process where authenticity of all submitted documents is confirmed. This includes class 12th mark sheets, identity proofs, category certificates (if applicable), and JEE scorecards.

    Seat Allocation and Counseling Process

The counseling process begins after the declaration of JEE Advanced or JEE Main ranks. Candidates are invited to participate in a centralized counseling session where they can choose their preferred institution and branch based on merit, category-wise reservation, and available seats.

Lords University Alwar uses a merit-based system for seat allocation. For each category, a cutoff rank is determined based on the number of seats available and the performance of candidates who applied under that category. The process includes:

    • Online registration for counseling
    • Choice filling session
    • Seat allotment based on merit and preferences
    • Document verification
    • Fee payment and confirmation of admission

    Preparation Tips for JEE Exams

To succeed in competitive exams like JEE Advanced or JEE Main, aspirants must follow a strategic approach:

    • Develop a structured study plan with consistent daily practice and revision cycles
    • Focus on core concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics rather than rote learning
    • Solve previous years' question papers to understand the exam pattern and time management
    • Use online resources such as video lectures, mock tests, and discussion forums for conceptual clarity
    • Join coaching centers or self-study groups to stay motivated and aligned with syllabus requirements

    Counseling Strategy

    During counseling, candidates should:

    • Research institutions thoroughly and prioritize based on location, reputation, and course offerings
    • Understand the category-wise rank trends and seat availability for better decision-making
    • Fill choices wisely by considering both top-tier options and fallbacks
    • Ensure all required documents are ready before the document verification stage
    • Be prepared to pay fees promptly upon seat confirmation to avoid losing eligibility
