    Detailed Fee Components

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative support. It is subject to annual revision based on inflation and infrastructure development costs.

Hostel Rent: Students residing on campus are required to pay monthly rent for their assigned accommodation. Hostel facilities include shared rooms with basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, and study desks.

Mess Advance: A fixed amount is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses. The mess billing system is transparent, with monthly statements provided to students for verification.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports financially disadvantaged students through grants and assistance programs. Contributions are minimal but essential for ensuring equitable access to education.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including consultations, medications, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, and student clubs. Students are encouraged to participate actively in these programs for holistic development.

Examination Fees: Required for appearing in semester-end examinations, including practical assessments and project evaluations.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel room types to accommodate students from different backgrounds:

    • Semi-Detached Rooms (2-3 occupants): Shared bathrooms, common areas, and basic furnishings. Monthly rent is approximately 40,000 INR.
    • Private Rooms (1 occupant): Individual bathroom, private space, and enhanced comfort features. Monthly rent is around 60,000 INR.
    • Double-Occupancy Shared Rooms: Designed for students seeking a balance between affordability and comfort. Rent includes shared bathroom facilities and communal study spaces.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with detailed records maintained for each student. Rebates are available for students who maintain good attendance and discipline. Special dietary arrangements can be made upon request, ensuring inclusivity and flexibility.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides financial assistance to deserving students through various scholarship schemes:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fees and hostel charges for eligible candidates. Income slabs below 2 lakhs per annum qualify for full concession.
    • EWS Category: Partial waiver of tuition fees and hostel charges, with income limits up to 6 lakhs per annum.
    • MCM (Minority Community): Concessions applicable to students from minority communities, with specific eligibility criteria based on government notifications.

To apply for financial aid, students must submit the required documents and forms through the official portal. Applications are reviewed by a committee that evaluates each case based on merit and need.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made before the specified deadline to avoid late fees. Late payment incurs a penalty of 1000 INR per day, with a maximum cap of 5000 INR per semester.

In case of withdrawal or discontinuation of studies, refund policies are applied as follows:

    • Withdrawal within 30 days: Full refund minus administrative charges of 2000 INR.
    • Withdrawal after 30 days but before 60 days: Refund of 75% of total fees minus administrative charges.
    • Withdrawal after 60 days: No refund is granted beyond the first 60 days of enrollment.

The official refund process takes up to 45 working days from the date of application, subject to verification and approval by the finance department.
