    Detailed Explanation of Each Component

    Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative services provided throughout the semester. This includes access to libraries, digital databases, laboratory facilities, and faculty support.

    Hostel Rent

Hostel rent is charged for accommodation on campus. The university offers various room types including single, double, and triple occupancy rooms with shared bathrooms and common areas. Rooms are equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.

    Mess Advance

The mess advance is a prepayment for meals during the semester. Students are required to pay this amount at the beginning of each semester to ensure uninterrupted access to campus dining facilities. The mess bill is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

    Student Benevolent Fund

The Student Benevolent Fund supports students in need, covering emergency expenses related to medical emergencies, family crises, or other unforeseen circumstances. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to build a supportive community environment.

    Medical Fees

Medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the university's health center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and medication. Students also have access to emergency medical facilities and referrals to external hospitals when necessary.

    Gymkhana Fees

The Gymkhana Fees contribute to maintaining recreational and sports facilities on campus, including gyms, playing fields, indoor games, and extracurricular activities. These fees support student wellness and promote a balanced lifestyle.

    Examination Fees

Examination fees cover the costs associated with conducting end-of-semester exams, including invigilation, paper setting, grading, and result processing. This ensures that all students have fair access to evaluation processes and academic assessments.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

    Room Types

The university offers different types of hostel rooms to accommodate varying needs:

    • Single Occupancy Room: ₹40,000 per semester. Includes a private room with attached bathroom and study space.
    • Double Occupancy Room: ₹35,000 per semester. Shared room with two occupants, attached bathroom, and common areas.
    • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹30,000 per semester. Shared room with three occupants, shared bathroom, and common kitchen space.

    Mess Billing System

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students are billed according to their actual consumption of meals during the month. The university uses an automated system that tracks meal attendance and adjusts bills accordingly. Any discrepancies in billing are resolved through dedicated grievance redressal mechanisms.

    Rebate Policies

Students who are absent due to medical reasons or other valid causes may be eligible for rebates on hostel and mess charges. Applications for rebate must be submitted with supporting documentation within a specified timeframe to ensure proper processing.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

    Eligibility Criteria

Fee waivers and concessions are available based on income slabs and category-wise eligibility:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% fee waiver for tuition, hostel, and mess charges.
    • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for tuition, hostel, and mess charges.
    • MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): 50% fee concession for tuition, hostel, and mess charges.

    Benefits

Students who qualify for these concessions receive full or partial exemptions on all components of the fee structure. The university also offers need-based scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance but do not fall under reserved categories.

    Application Process

Applications for fee waivers and scholarships must be submitted through the official portal during the admission process or within the first month of joining the program. Required documents include income certificates, caste certificates (for SC/ST), disability certificates (for PwD), and academic transcripts.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

    Payment Deadlines

All fees must be paid by the specified deadline announced at the beginning of each semester. Late payments incur additional charges, and failure to pay within the stipulated time may result in suspension of academic privileges.

    Late Fee Calculations

Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on unpaid balances, with a maximum cap of ₹5000. Students are advised to plan their payments carefully to avoid financial penalties and ensure uninterrupted academic progress.

    Refund Rules

If a student withdraws from the program before completing the semester, a refund is processed according to the following rules:

    • Withdrawal within 10 days: Full refund of all fees except examination fees.
    • Withdrawal between 10–30 days: Refund of 75% of tuition, hostel, and mess charges after deducting examination fees and administrative costs.
    • Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund is provided unless the student is hospitalized or faces other exceptional circumstances.
