Fee Components Explained

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided on a shared basis with amenities including WiFi, laundry facilities, study rooms, and 24/7 security. The rent includes basic furniture and maintenance costs.

Mess Advance: Students are required to pay an advance for their mess charges, which covers meals during the semester. The mess bill is settled at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are minimal but help create a safety net for those in need.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available on campus, including consultations with doctors and access to essential medicines.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities and sports facilities, ensuring students have opportunities to stay physically active and engaged in campus life.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations, including invigilation, paper setting, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel options ranging from single occupancy rooms to shared accommodations. Each room is equipped with essential furniture, internet connectivity, and air conditioning. Hostel charges vary based on room type:

• Single Occupancy Room: 25000 INR/semester
• Double Occupancy Room: 20000 INR/semester
• Triple Occupancy Room: 15000 INR/semester

Mess charges are calculated on a monthly basis and depend on the number of meals consumed. Students can opt for different meal plans including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or hybrid options.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession in tuition fees.
• EWS Category: Students from the Economically Weaker Section receive a 25% concession in tuition fees.
• MCM (Minority Community Member): Members of minority communities are eligible for a 10% concession in tuition fees.

Scholarships are also available based on academic performance, with top performers receiving full or partial fee waivers. Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline, and students must meet certain eligibility criteria including income slabs and academic records.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees can be paid through online banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated to ensure timely processing. Late payments attract a nominal penalty fee, which is usually 500 INR per day beyond the deadline.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students may be eligible for a refund according to the university's refund policy:

• Withdrawal before the start of the semester: Full refund minus administrative charges
• Withdrawal within 30 days of admission: Refund of 80% after deducting administrative fees
• Withdrawal after 30 days: Refund of 50% after deducting administrative fees and hostel charges
