Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: This is the primary fee charged for instruction and access to academic resources including libraries, laboratories, and digital learning platforms.

Hostel Rent: Covers accommodation expenses in university-hosted hostels. The rent varies based on room type and amenities provided.

Mess Advance: A prepayment for meals during the semester to ensure consistent dining services and budget planning.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small fee used for scholarships, financial assistance, and student welfare programs.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus including consultations and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities and sports facilities for students.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations, grading, and maintaining academic records.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Rooms are categorized into single, double, triple, and quad occupancy types. Each category comes with varying levels of amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and common areas.

Mess charges are calculated based on meal plans offered by the university. Students can choose between all-day meals, breakfast-lunch-dinner options, or customized plans based on their dietary needs. The billing system is integrated with the student portal for easy tracking and management.

Rebate policies are available for students who have valid reasons such as illness or travel during the semester. Applications for rebates must be submitted within 10 days of the event and approved by the hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

We offer several financial aid options to support students from diverse backgrounds:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees.
• EWS Category: Students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees and full concession on hostel rent.
• MCM (Minority Community Member): Receives a 25% waiver on tuition fees and partial concession on other charges.

Income slabs for scholarship eligibility are as follows:

• Below INR 1,00,000: Full scholarship covering all fees
• INR 1,00,000 - 2,00,000: 50% fee waiver
• INR 2,00,000 - 3,00,000: 25% fee waiver

The application process involves submitting relevant documents including income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and academic transcripts. Applications are reviewed by a committee that assesses eligibility based on submitted evidence.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made through online banking or NEFT/RTGS transfers to the university's designated account. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day beyond the due date.

Students can view their payment history and outstanding balances through the student portal. A detailed breakdown of charges is provided before each payment cycle.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy:

• Before 30 days of admission: Full refund minus processing fees
• Between 30-60 days of admission: 75% refund
• After 60 days of admission: No refund
