Fee Component Breakdown

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative services. It is charged per semester and includes access to all core courses, laboratory sessions, and faculty mentorship.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided on a monthly basis with different room types available. Shared rooms cost 25000 INR/month, while single rooms cost 30000 INR/month. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24-hour security.

Mess Advance: Students are required to pay a mess advance at the beginning of each semester. This amount covers meals for the entire semester based on a standard daily meal plan. Refunds are processed at the end of the academic year if unused.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee is collected to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and contribute to the university's welfare initiatives.

Medical Fees: Medical services are provided through an on-campus health center, with fees covering consultations, basic treatments, and emergency care. Students are encouraged to maintain health insurance coverage for additional protection.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees fund recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural events. They support student clubs, fitness programs, and campus-wide competitions.

Examination Fees: Examination fees cover the cost of conducting semester-end tests, practical evaluations, and final assessments. These fees ensure that students have access to proper testing environments and grading systems.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options with varying room types and amenities. Shared rooms accommodate two or three students per room, while single rooms are available for individual occupancy. All hostels come equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 24-hour maintenance services.

Mess charges are calculated based on a monthly meal plan that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The standard daily charge is approximately 200 INR per meal, totaling around 15000 INR per month for three meals per day. Students can opt for premium meal plans that include additional snacks or special dietary options.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds during holidays or when they are away from campus for extended periods. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days the student does not reside in the hostel, with a maximum refund of 50% of the monthly rent.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides fee waivers and concessions for students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, EWS, and MCM. Eligibility criteria include income slabs and academic performance standards.

For SC/ST/PwD students, a 50% waiver is granted on tuition fees, while EWS students receive a 25% concession. Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds may qualify for full fee waivers based on documented proof of financial need.

Scholarships are awarded annually based on merit and financial need. Merit-based scholarships are given to top-performing students in each semester, while need-based scholarships are offered to those who demonstrate exceptional academic potential despite economic constraints.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via the university's secure portal or through bank transfers. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees applicable for overdue payments beyond the specified dates.

Late fees are calculated at 1% per month on outstanding balances, starting from the due date until full payment is received. Students who fail to pay within two months may face penalties and restrictions on academic activities.

Refunds are processed only upon withdrawal from the university or completion of the academic year. Refund requests must be submitted with valid documentation and are subject to approval by the finance department. The refund process typically takes 30-45 days after submission of all required documents.
