    Fee Components Explanation

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose in supporting the educational and living needs of students:

    • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, library access, and administrative support.
    • Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with shared facilities and amenities.
    • Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges to ensure uninterrupted dining services throughout the semester.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: A fund used for student welfare, scholarships, and emergency financial assistance.
    • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services, including consultations, medicines, and health check-ups.
    • Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and extracurricular activities, including gym access and recreational facilities.
    • Examination Fees: Covers examination conduct, evaluation, and result processing costs.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides hostel accommodation to all students, with different room types available based on comfort levels and budget considerations:

    • Single Occupancy Room: INR 25,000 per semester, includes single bed, study table, wardrobe, and Wi-Fi.
    • Double Occupancy Room: INR 20,000 per semester, includes two beds, study tables, wardrobes, and Wi-Fi.
    • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per semester, includes three beds, shared study space, and Wi-Fi.

The mess charges are collected as an advance payment at the beginning of each semester. The billing system is designed to be transparent, with daily meal records updated regularly and monthly statements provided to students.

Rebate policies are available for students who opt out of hostel accommodation or choose not to use the mess services during certain periods. These rebates are calculated based on actual usage and can be applied toward future semesters.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance programs to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Concession: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories receive a 50% concession on tuition fees and other charges.
    • EWS Concession: Economically Weaker Section students get a 25% discount on all fees.
    • MCM (Minority Community Merit): Students from minority communities who score above 80% in their qualifying examination receive a 10% fee waiver.

Eligibility criteria for these concessions are based on income slabs and category verification documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, or disability certificates. The application process requires submission of relevant documents along with an online form through the university portal.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fee payments must be made through the university's official portal using secure online payment gateways. The system accepts debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and NEFT transfers. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated at the start of each semester, with late fees applicable for overdue payments.

Late fees are calculated as 2% per month on the outstanding amount, with a maximum cap of INR 5000. Students who fail to pay within the stipulated time may face penalties including suspension of library access or exam eligibility.

The refund policy is applicable for students who withdraw from the university before completing the academic year. Refunds are processed within 30 days after submission of the withdrawal form and necessary documentation, subject to deductions for administrative charges and any outstanding dues.
