    Detailed Fee Breakdown

Each component of the fee structure plays a crucial role in supporting student education and campus life:

    • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and course materials for all subjects taught during the semester.
    • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with basic amenities like beds, wardrobes, study tables, and internet connectivity.
    • Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire semester at university canteens.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: A contribution towards student welfare activities, cultural events, sports competitions, and emergency assistance programs.
    • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services including consultations, vaccinations, and preventive health check-ups provided by the campus medical center.
    • Gymkhana Fees: Supports physical fitness initiatives, gym access, fitness equipment maintenance, and sports tournament organization.
    • Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university operates multiple hostel facilities across campus catering to different student needs:

    Room Types

    • Semi-Deluxe Rooms (2-occupancy): Equipped with single beds, study desks, wardrobes, and shared bathrooms.
    • Deluxe Rooms (4-occupancy): Offered with twin beds, study tables, individual lockers, private bathrooms, and air conditioning.
    • Private Rooms (1-occupancy): Features a single bed, desk, wardrobe, en-suite bathroom, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

    Mess Billing System

The mess billing system is managed through an automated portal where students can view their monthly consumption, settle accounts, and track dining history. Meals are served at fixed times with dietary options available for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Special arrangements are made for students with allergies or dietary restrictions.

    Rebate Policies

Students can avail of rebates under specific circumstances such as attending conferences, participating in sports events, or being absent due to medical reasons. Rebates may be partial or full depending on the validity of the reason provided and approval from authorities.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial aid options for deserving students:

    Scholarship Categories

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees and partial concessions on hostel rent and mess charges.
    • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and 25% concession on hostel rent and mess charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% waiver on tuition fees and 10% concession on hostel rent and mess charges.

    Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship eligibility is determined based on family income, parental education level, caste certificate, and academic performance. Students must submit a detailed application form along with supporting documents including income certificates, caste certificates, and bank statements.

    Application Process

Students can apply for scholarships online through the university portal. Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee comprising faculty members and administrative staff. Selected candidates are notified via email and SMS within two weeks of submission.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made before the start of each semester to ensure uninterrupted access to academic resources:

    • Payment Deadlines: Fees must be paid within 15 days from the date of admission or registration.
    • Late Fee Calculations: A late fee of 2% per month is applicable for overdue payments beyond the deadline.
    • Refund Rules: Refunds are processed only in cases of withdrawal, transfer, or cancellation due to medical emergencies. The refund amount is calculated after deducting administrative charges and any outstanding dues.
