    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

    Eligibility Criteria

    The university offers fee waivers and scholarships to students belonging to SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students with income up to Rs. 2 lakhs per annum are eligible for full fee waiver.
    • EWS Category: Students with income between Rs. 2-5 lakhs per annum receive a 50% discount on tuition fees.
    • MCM Category: Widows, divorced women, and single mothers can avail up to 100% fee waiver based on financial status.

    Benefits

    Students who qualify for fee waivers receive full or partial reductions in tuition, hostel, and mess charges. Additionally, they may be eligible for stipends or grants for books, stationery, and travel expenses.

    Application Process

    To apply for fee concessions or scholarships, students must:

    1. Fill out an online application form available on the university website.
    2. Upload scanned copies of income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and other supporting documents.
    3. Submit the application before the deadline specified by the university.
    4. Attend a verification meeting if required for further clarification.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

    Payment Deadlines

    Students must pay their fees within 15 days of the start of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day until clearance is made.

    Late Fee Calculations

    For delayed payments beyond 15 days, students are charged a daily late fee of Rs. 500 until full payment is received. However, no late fees are imposed after the last date for fee submission as per university policy.

    Refund Rules

    If a student withdraws from the program before completing one semester, a refund of tuition and hostel charges will be processed according to the following schedule:

    • Withdrawal within 15 days: 100% refund
    • Withdrawal between 16-30 days: 80% refund
    • Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund

    Students who leave mid-semester due to personal reasons or academic performance issues may be eligible for partial refunds based on actual expenses incurred.
