    Detailed Explanation of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers access to lectures, seminars, workshops, and all academic resources provided by the university. This includes digital libraries, research databases, and access to specialized labs and equipment.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is available for students who wish to reside on campus. The rent includes utilities such as electricity, water, internet, and maintenance services. Single occupancy rooms are available at an additional cost.

Mess Advance: A mess advance is collected upfront to cover meal expenses during the semester. Students can opt for monthly billing instead of paying in advance if they prefer flexibility.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and help ensure that no student is deprived of education due to economic constraints.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services, including consultations with doctors and access to medical supplies during the academic year.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports events, and recreational facilities available on campus. These fees contribute to maintaining the quality of campus life.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting exams, including proctoring, grading, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facility offers various room types to suit different needs and budgets. Options include single occupancy rooms, shared rooms (2-4 students), and dormitory-style accommodations. Each room comes with basic furniture, internet connectivity, and access to common areas such as study halls and lounges.

For mess charges, students can choose between two billing options: monthly advance payments or daily billing. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. Special dietary requirements such as gluten-free or dairy-free meals can be accommodated upon request.

Rebate policies are applicable for students who do not reside on campus during certain periods, such as during summer vacations or when traveling for internships. Rebates are calculated based on the number of days the student remains off-campus.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance programs to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

    • SC/ST/PwD: Eligible students receive a 50% discount on tuition fees. Additional concessions are available for those with income below INR 2 lakh per annum.
    • EWS: Students belonging to EWS category get a 25% reduction in tuition fees, with further discounts based on family income.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): A 10% concession is offered to students from minority communities who meet the eligibility criteria.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates. The process involves verification by the university's financial aid committee, which evaluates each application based on merit and need.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees can be paid online through secure payment gateways or offline via demand drafts and cheques. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to avoid late fees and penalties. Students who miss the deadline are subject to a late fee of INR 500 per day.

In case of withdrawal, refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy. Full refunds are granted only if the withdrawal occurs before the start of the semester. After that, partial refunds are provided based on the number of weeks attended and the remaining balance in the account.
