    Project-Based Learning Philosophy

The department believes that project-based learning enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills. Each student undertakes two mini-projects during their first two semesters, followed by a final capstone project in the fourth semester.

Mini-projects are typically team-based and involve real-world challenges from industry partners or faculty research initiatives. These projects are evaluated using rubrics that assess concept clarity, methodology, presentation quality, and practical relevance.

The capstone project is a comprehensive, individual endeavor that integrates all learned concepts. Students select topics based on personal interest and career goals, often aligning with ongoing research or industry needs. Faculty mentors are assigned based on expertise matching.

Students submit progress reports at defined intervals and present their findings to a panel of faculty members and industry experts. The final submission includes a detailed report, presentation slides, and a demonstration of the deliverable (if applicable).
