    Detailed Breakdown of Fee Components

The fee structure comprises several components designed to support the holistic education and living experience of students.

    Tuition Fee

This is the primary component covering instruction, laboratory sessions, access to digital resources, and academic support services. The fee remains constant across semesters but includes periodic updates based on inflation and institutional costs.

    Hostel Rent

Accommodation is provided in well-furnished hostels with shared facilities. Hostel rent varies depending on room type, with single occupancy rooms being more expensive than triple or quadruple occupancy options. The rent covers utilities like electricity, water, internet, and maintenance services.

    Mess Advance

Students are required to pay a fixed advance amount for meals throughout the semester. This ensures uninterrupted access to nutritious food during their stay at campus. Monthly mess bills are adjusted based on actual consumption and any applicable rebates or adjustments.

    Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary, though recommended for all students. The fund aids in covering unforeseen expenses related to medical treatment, family crises, or academic needs.

    Medical Fees

Each student is charged an annual medical fee that covers access to on-campus healthcare services, including consultations with doctors and nurses, diagnostic tests, medications, and emergency care.

    Gymkhana Fees

These fees support extracurricular activities, sports facilities, cultural events, and recreational programs. Students have access to gyms, swimming pools, tennis courts, football fields, and other amenities provided by the university.

    Examination Fees

This component covers the cost of conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, result processing, and certificate generation. It ensures a fair and standardized evaluation process for all students.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides multiple hostel options to accommodate different preferences and budgets. Room types include single, double, triple, and quadruple occupancy with varying pricing tiers.

    Room Types and Pricing

    • Single Occupancy: Rs. 20,000 per month
    • Double Occupancy: Rs. 15,000 per month
    • Triple Occupancy: Rs. 12,000 per month
    • Quadruple Occupancy: Rs. 10,000 per month

Each room comes with basic furniture and Wi-Fi connectivity. Additional services such as laundry, cleaning, and security are included in the rent.

    Mess Billing System

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with students paying an advance amount for meals. Actual charges are calculated based on consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month. Rebates are available for students who maintain good attendance and discipline in mess areas.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Nirwan University Jaipur offers several financial aid options to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • SC/ST/PwD: Income slab up to Rs. 2 lakhs annually
    • EWS: Income slab up to Rs. 4 lakhs annually
    • MCM: Income slab up to Rs. 3 lakhs annually

Students must submit relevant documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, disability certificates (if applicable), and Aadhaar cards during the application process.

    Benefits and Application Process

Eligible students can apply for fee waivers through an online portal managed by the university. The application form requires detailed information about family income, parental education, and academic performance. Applications are reviewed by a committee comprising faculty members, administrative staff, and alumni representatives.

Approved applicants receive partial or full fee waivers, depending on their circumstances. In some cases, scholarships are awarded based on merit, leading to reduced tuition fees or full financial assistance for exceptional students.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made within the specified deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties. Students can make payments via online banking, NEFT/RTGS, demand draft, or cash at designated counters on campus.

    Payment Deadlines

Payments are due by the first week of each semester. Failure to meet the deadline results in a late fee of Rs. 1,000 per day until the payment is received.

    Refund Policy

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies based on the duration of enrollment:

    • Withdrawal before first month: Full refund minus Rs. 5,000 processing fee
    • Withdrawal after first month but before six months: Refund of 70% minus processing fees
    • Withdrawal after six months: Refund of 50% minus processing fees

Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to verification of documents and compliance with university regulations.
